Sunnuntai 15.6.2014    Turusta kotiin  386 km   English translation after Finnish text      

Herätys Suomen aikaa klo 6:00 hyvin nukutun yön jälkeen. Oli oikea ratkaisu tulla Vikingillä sillä edellisellä kerralla nukkuminen jäi vähiin nuorisojoukon pitäessä hyttibileitä koko yön.
Aamupalalle ravintolaan ja kamat kassiin, pyörien luo odottelemaan rantautumista ja maihin pääsyä. Aurinko paistoi kun ajoimme Mikan perässä kunnes tuli aika morjestaa ja kiittää matkaseurasta. Jatkoin matkaan Jorman kanssa vielä hetken aikaa ja sitten olinkin yksin matkalla kotiin. Vielä yksi tankkaus ennen kotiin pääsyä.
Suzukin mittariin kertyi 6538 km, eli hieman enemmän kuin olin alunperin laskeskellut. 
Tosin tarkoitus oli pitää kaksi päivää jolloin ei käytännössä ajettaisi ollenkaan, mutta minkäs teet kun kaikilla oli ajohaluja eikä kaupungilla maleksiminen ollut pääasia.
Ajamaanhan sitä oli tultu.
Teitä oli matkalla kaikenlaisia, ehkä enemmän pääteitä kuin olin suunnitellut, mutta näin matka eteni joutuisasti kun muuta liikennettä ei Puolan tukkoisia teitä lukuunottamatta ollut häiriöksi saakka.
Vesisateessa emme oikeasti joutuneet ajamaan kuin kahtena päivänä ja silloinkin vain osan matkaa. Säähän ei ole kuin varustautumiskysymys sillä nykyiset ajovarusteet pitävät vettä ilman teippi ja muovikassivirityksiä.
Pyörät toimivat hyvin eikä niitä tarvinnut korjata eikä huoltaa. Ainoa toimenpide oli öljyn lisäämineen Scottoileriin 3500 km:n jälkeen, eikä ketjuja ei tarvinnut kiristellä.
Tällä reissulla kokeilimme kuinka pärjäämme ilman valuutan vaihtoa. Hyvin onnistui maksaminen luottokortilla paria poikkeusta lukuunottamatta, mutta niistäkin selvittiin euroilla maksamalla, eikä kurssikaan ollut mahdoton.
Museoita tuli rampattua vähäksi aikaa ihan tarpeeksi, automuseot selvitimme nopeammin kuin mitä oli suunnitellut. Sinnsheimissa olisi saanut aikaa kulumaan paljon enemmänkin mutta ajovarusteet päällä se oli turhan työlästä. Pitää varmaan käydä uudestaan.
Reissun aikana kävimme 12 maassa, valitettavasti tarroja ei ole enää juuri kaupan liimattavaksi boxeihin...

Sunday 15.6.2014   from Turku to home 386 km

Wake up at 6:00 in Finnish time after well slept nigth. It was  rigth solution to take Viking Line as on the previous time we slept really badly because of young people having noisy cabin parties the whole nigth.
A breakfast in the restaurant and then quickly packing and down to bikes waiting for the ship to enter the port. Sun was shining when we rode behind Mika for a while, as it came time to say goodbye and thank about company. I continued with Jorma for a couple of hours and then it was only me riding towards home. Just one more fueling before arriwing home.
At home Suzuki trip showed 6538 km that was a bit more what I had calculated in the very beginning.
Well, we had planned to have two days pratically without riding at all, but what to do when all wanted to ride and walking around the city was not the main idea.
And we were on the road to ride.
There was all kind of roads, maybe more highways than I had planned, but so we rode with a good speed as there was not too much traffic in spite of Poland.
In rain we actually rode only on two days and then only a part of the day. The weather is only a matter of clothing as today the riding suits are water proof without any tapes and plastic bags as years ago.
The bikes worked really well without any fixing. The only action was filling of Scottoiler with oil after 3500 km and there was no need to adjust the chains.
This time we tested how we can manage without changing currency as most of the countries had Euro. It worked well as most of the places accepted our credit cards and the few exceptions accepted Euros as cash with acceptable rate.
Museums we had enough for some time, the car museums took less time what I had planned.
In Sinnsheim one can easily spend much more time what we did, but having the riding suits on it's a bit too heavy. Maybe I had to go there once again.
We visited 12 countries, but as there are not anymore stickers available I cannot clue them to my boxes, what a pity...

 
 It was again a really fine ride. Thank you Jorma and Mika, together with you one can go just anywhere without lack of good humour.
