Aamulla paistoi aurinko mutta säätiedotus lupasi vesisadetta iltapäivälle.
Ajoimme ensin Sollideniin mutta koska linna ei ollut vielä auki ja viereinen Borgholmenin rauniolinna oli täynnä nuorisopoliitiikka päivien osallistujia, päätimme jatkaa matkaa samantien.
Ajoimme saaren pohjoispäähän itärannikon kautta ja palasimme takaisin länsipuolta pitkin.
Taivas tummeni mantereen yllä ja pientä tihkusadetta tuli palatessamme infokeskukselle.
Infokeskuksen pihalla totesimme että paikalla oli hetki ennen saapumistamme ollut raekuuro sillä maa oli vielä aivan valkeana syöksytorvien vieressä.
Menimme rakennukseen sisälle juuri kun sade alkoi yltyen hetkessä kaatosateeksi.
Odottelimme puolisen tuntia sateen laantumista ja päätimme sen jälkeen ajaa suoraan kaupunkiin majoittautumaan ja jättää eteläpäässä käynnin toiselle kertaa.

Friday 13.6.2014 Kalskrona - Öland - Kalmar 300 km
In the morning sun was shining but the forecast promised rain for the afternoon.
So we started early riding from Karlskrona to Kalmar and after a small stop continued to Öland.
A short meeting at the Info center and decided to ride first to north.
We rode to Solliden, kings summer recidence, but it was not yet open and the near by ruins of Borgholm castle was full of participants of a youth politacal meeting, we decided to ride on rigth away.
We rode to north end of the island using the eastern rad and returned by the western one.
The sky was turning dark over the mainland and it started to rain slowly while we returned to the info center. At the yard we noticed that there had been a hail not so long ago as the ground was white close to the roof rain water outlets.
We went inside just as the rain started and soon it was a rainstorm.
We waited inside about half an hour and then decided to ride directly to the town and leave the souther part of the island for another time.
